The Air Jordan 4 Retro Premium “Obsidian” features an obsidian blue leather upper and a stark white midsole and outsole. The leather’s quilted pattern varies throughout the upper, resulting in a patchwork-like finish. Elsewhere, the sneaker’s signature “wings” and heel tab forgo their usual plastic construction in favor of metallic copper, adding an extra touch of luxury. This release marks the third Air Jordan 4 Retro Premium launch of 2016, following the “Pony Hair” (aka “Black”) and “Snakeskin” colorways in April and May, respectively. Additionally, a “Wheat” Air Jordan 4 Retro Premium appears to be on the horizon. The Air Jordan 4 Retro Premium “Obsidian” will be released on Sept. 17 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS for $400.
