Adidas is dominating Nike.

Adidas' Running division is killing it, as sales soar to over 31 percent in Q1 growth, reports.
Although collaborations with Kanye West and Pharrell have helped catapult sales, shoes across the segment are flying off shelves and selling out within 48hours.

Paul Bowyer, Senior director of running at adidas North America, recently revealed that the brand's biggest area of growth is running sneakers, namely the Ultra Boost and AlphaBOUNCE. "The momentum we have in running is undeniable," he says. "We're seeing runners switch brands, athletes choose adidas over our competitors and sneakerheads demand a performance shoe."
Bowyer also notes that the Ultra Boost Uncaged is their fastest-selling performance shoe ever (in America), as more than 11,000 pairs were purchased within the first hour of release, and all stock was sold out completely in one day.
Additionally, the initial shipment of the AlphaBOUNCE went on to sell out in just two days.
While Adidas Running is seeing sales skyrocket, their stocks also just rocketed past rival Nike's, says the report.
